Description
PreTox 2000 Demo is a single component
overcoating applied to a lead-based paint coated surface prior to demolition or renovation
operations. PreTox 2000 Demo renders lead based paint non-hazardous for disposal. Designed
with good adhesion, PreTox 2000 Demo is easy to use on the job. PreTox 2000 Demo will remain
intact throughout the demolition or removal process and ensure non-hazardous disposal of
waste.

Recommended Application Equipment
PreTox 2000 Demo can be applied by brush, roller or
mechanical spray equipment. Industrial grade airless spray equipment such as a Graco King
or Bulldog is recommended. When using such equipment, use a .045 tip or larger and remove
all filters or use 20 mesh or larger filter.

Thinning/Clean Up
Thinning is not required or recommended. Clean up
equipment after use with any aliphatic or aromatic solvent.

- Dry time 8 hours at 70ºF and 50% RH
- Spread rate: 2,000 to 5,000 sq.ft/hr depending on substrate
and equipment.
- Coverage 25 to 100 sq.ft/gal depending on paint and
substrate. Average coverage for typical structures is 40 sq.ft/gal.
- VOC = 3.3 lb./gal
- Flashpoint = 106º F
- Solids = 72% (by weight)
- Weight per gallon = 11.5lbs
Product Use
- Mix thoroughly (Some settling will occur during storage).
- Apply to substrate.
- Allow to dry.
- Remove component or demolish structure.
- Sample waste as per federal and local regulation (for
assistance, call NexTec at 800-338-8296).
- Dispose of debris.

PreTox 2000 Demo contains combustible solvents.
Ensure that adequate ventilation and personal protective equipment compatible with solvent
coatings is used during application and curing.
